The manufacturer lists this fluorescent tube among what she calls 'complementary lights', so it should be used with the same company's 'basic lights' or in combination with metal halide lamps.

Si tratta di un neon dotato di uno spettro con un picco di lunghezza d’onda a 421nm e dunque luce di colore blu-violetto. Ha una straordinaria efficacia nell’esaltare la fluorescenza di alcuni coralli (a maggioranza coralli molli) e nel farne risaltare i colori.
