Emergency overflow: 

It prevents overloading of the skimmer when the water level rises. This occurs, for example, when there is a power failure or if there are problems with the air inlet (e.g. if the silicone tube is choked or clogged); this causes 'dirty' water to spill into the sump, resulting in an imbalance in the tank.  

Emergency overflow pipe and regulating pipe: 

The water level in the skimmer can be read at the emergency overflow tube; the minimum and maximum marks help to optimise the water level.; the overflow and control pipes can be interchanged. 

Pump:

The shape of the skimmer tapers upwards, allowing the small air bubbles to rise, unhindered and fully saturated, into the collection cup. From there, the skimming product can be drained via the drain pipe without having to dismantle the tumbler.
