Filter Material Peat Moss from Ista contains essential trace elements and can transform water steadily and slowly so that it is slightly acidic. It is also able to soften the water, which can prevent algae growth and induce fish spawning. Peat also helps to improve fish colour.

Ideal for tetras, discus and other South American cichlids that prefer a slightly lower pH and softer water.

The peat is supplied in a filter bag, which can simply be placed inside the aquarium filter. The filter bag contains 500 ml of peat moss.
