The manufacturer informs:

A domestic system for the production of practically pure and totally mineral-free water (conductivity and TDS are therefore zero) that is ideal for use in an aquarium, be it fresh or marine. 

The system consists of three successive stages:  

• transparent 5 mcr sediment cartridge: removes suspended particles and rust or particulate residue from the water; recommended replacement every 6 months or 3000 litres of produced water; the transparency of the container gives the user the possibility to constantly monitor the cartridge's state of wear and tear

• activated charcoal cartridge: removes chlorine, heavy metals, drug or pesticide residues and other substances potentially harmful to the aquarium from the water; also recommended to be replaced every 6 months or 3000 litres of produced water 
   
• Pentair's (made in the U.S.A.) TLC 50/75/100 series membranes were designed by the American company, a world leader in the field, for the treatment of domestic drinking water and have a permeate production, depending on the model, of 50, 75 or 100 GPD (equal to approximately 180, 275, 360 L/g) with a stabilised salt rejection rate of 98% under standard test conditions.

 Flush Valve for membrane flushing:

 the system is equipped with a valve that allows regular maintenance of the memsill withfeeling to extend its average life.

Simply turning the valve knob causes the waste water to re-enter the vessel and flow out from where the permeate would normally flow out, thus subjecting the membrane to the washing process that improves its operating conditions.

Included in the package are:

- tightening spanner for easier screwing of the container cap in which the membrane is placed

- water mains connector with 3/4" female thread (washing machine connection)

- 5mt of white 3/4" hose

- instruction manual in Italian
